That evolved into our SuperStars Giving Program. This lets us better showcase the good things that are happening in the world. At the same time, we want to uplift these SuperStars.

NutriSource Facility Dog Program
Meet Rocket. He’s a SuperStar to everyone he meets!
That’s because Rocket spends his day visiting children getting treatment and their families.
You’ll find him with his kind handler at the M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. Watch this video to learn more about the impact of Rocket.
Because Rocket brings so much love and comfort to people who need it, we decided to get more SuperStars into hospitals and expand the program!
In early 2022, more facility dogs will be joining the SuperStar team.
Thanks to you, we’ll be making an even bigger impact on the well-being and care of those getting treatment.

Pinky Swear Foundation
Kids with cancer demonstrate courage, patience and resilience every day. In every sense of the word, these kids are SuperStars.
The Pinky Swear Foundation offers direct financial support to families of children battling pediatric cancer. This support helps them pay bills and other family expenses. This lets them focus on the health and recovery of the children they love.
Pinky Swear Foundation is one of the nonprofits that NutriSource brand supports with a share of our proceeds.

Soldier’s 6
A dog can be so much more than just a human’s best friend. For military veterans and first responders, service dogs can play a crucial role in assisting those heroes as they navigate physical and emotional challenges of the next stages of their lives.
Soldier’s 6 mission is to provide honorably discharged veterans, police officers, and fire fighters with specially trained K-9’s. These special dogs will become their Battle Buddy and help guide them through the difficult days in life. They chose the name Soldier’s 6 because that is what a service dog has, it’s Battle Buddy’s 6 (or back).

Dogtopia Foundation
As one of the top doggy day cares in the country, Dogtopia is a true SuperStar in the hearts and minds of our dog friends!
But there’s more. The Dogtopia Foundation enables dogs to positively change the world by letting them be the SuperStars they truly are! The foundation focuses on these three core areas:
- Service dogs for veterans
- Youth literacy programs
- Employment initiatives for adults with autism
NutriSource donates the treats to stock Dogtopia Treat Machines. Purchases from these machines go to the Dogtopia Foundation.

Finley’s Barkery
NutriSource has teamed up with Finley’s Barkery.
Finley’s is a dog treat brand that donates 50% of its profits to organizations that help people with disabilities. Talk about SuperStar levels of giving back!
Here’s how our partnership works:
- NutriSource provided Finley’s Barkery with an interest-free bridge loan.
- NutriSource is assisting with the development of new products.
- Finley’s Functional Benefit Bars will be produced at NutriSource’s ultramodern manufacturing facility in Delano, Minnesota.
