It all started with Winston the Labrador
NaturVet was founded in 1994 after the owners' adopted Labrador, Winston, was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. A number of veterinarians told them he was beyond help and they should have him euthanized. The family refused to accept the sad prognosis and they started researching alternative treatments with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian. After several months, they developed a natural joint formula that went on to give Winston a second chance and more than 10 years of active life with his family and siblings.
Now NaturVet product line includes almost 140 solutions designed to support the health and well-being of dogs, cats and horses. NaturVet Foundation
Since 2006, a percentage of all NaturVet® sales are donated to supporting Pet Rescue Groups and their efforts. The NaturVet Foundation is comprised completely of non-paid volunteers. All funds raised or donated are applied to these efforts with only minor expenses and administrative fees deducted.
